Meet the Team

President & Founder

Harrison is an incoming freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. He was his school's Lincoln Douglas Debate captain, placed 3rd in Washington State Debate, 4th in State Speech, and Competed at Nationals. He aims to educate students on critical thinking, public speaking, and civil discourse without a financial barrier.

Lincoln Douglas Debate Teacher

Kessa is a high school junior from Indiana and has been in Speech and Debate for a year. She competes in LD, BQD, and OO. She was third in her district in both debate events and qualified for NSDA Nationals in BDQ.

Nate is a Freshman at Bellevue High School and qualified for Nationals in his first year. He mainly does extemporaneous speaking and congressional debate. Aswell as a placing 4th in worlds debate at the Wasington state tournament.

Public Forum Debate Teacher

Stacey, a junior at Mount Si High School, competes in Public Forum debate. She qualified for the 2023 Tournament of Champions, placed 3rd in state, and has won many tournaments.

Jiadong, a Junior and Congress Debate captain, is first in his state. He placed in major tournaments like Berkeley, Mount Vernon, and Seattle University, and competed at Nationals. He also competes in Informative speaking.

Bryan has done debate for 7 years, with experience in Parli, PF, LD, and his current main event, Congress. He made semifinals at the 2024 UK Tournament of Champions and finals at the WIAA Washington State Debate Championships twice.

Patrick is a sophomore at Issaquah High School. He has experience in public forum and parliamentary debate with around 3 years of experience. He also has extensive experience in Public Forum debate, competing in the national circuit.

Ananya is an incoming junior at Mount Si High School. Competing in Public Forum Debate. She has placed consistently and gotten many speaker awards on the washington circuit as well as attaining a bid to Silver TOC and qualifying to and breaking at the National Speech and Debate Tournament.

Shiwen has placed in Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, and Parliamentary debate at Apple Valley, TOC Digital Series, Peninsula, Stanford, and Berkeley. She co-championed and won top speaker at the Georgetown tournament and placed in the top 6 at the Middle School Tournament of Champions for LD.

Charlie is a junior at La Costa Canyon High School, California. His achievements include breaking to Octofinals at Berkeley for JV Lincoln Douglas debate, and qualifying to the 2024 Nationals tournament for “Big Questions” debate. He is also a member of his school’s debate leadership team.

Meriel is an incoming Junior with 3 years of speech experience. She is 4th in DI in Washington State, as well as a double state finalist in DUO and DI her freshman year. Meriel is a three-time National Qualifier in DUO and DI respectfully. She is also her high school's Interpretation Speech captain.

William has qualified for Tournament of Champions in 2024 as well as getting first place at the Columbia University tournament.

I am a rising Junior from the California area with 2 years of LD experience. Ben is the San Diego Imperial Valley League Congressional Champion, 5th place in California for Congress, and a Berkeley Invitational Congressional Finalist

Jasmine has competed in LD for 2 years and placed at Jack Howe as well as TOC Digital 1. She has won states and was the first place speaker.

Ayaan is a sophomore and captain of the debate team at Snohomish High School. He has qualified for the States championship for debate and won the Berkeley Debate Tournament for debate.

I'm Luis, and I've excelled in speech and debate for the past two years, focusing on IX and PF. In my second year, I received numerous compliments for my accomplishments in extemp, breaking at every tournament, and qualifying in IX and DEX. I made finals in extemp at districts and regionals. In PF debate, I've developed quick thinking skills and can craft effective speeches quickly. I love speech and debate and am eager to help others excel in any event.

Jadyn is a sophomore at the Overlake school. She has extensive experience in Public Forum, a semi-finalist at the Puget Sound National Qualifying tournament and 3rd in the State for Worlds School Debate.

Aaron is a junior at Coronado High School, NV, he has excelled in many forms of Speech and Debate specializing in Public Forum Debate. He is the Nevada State Runner-Up, has the most NSDA points in Public Forum in Nevada, a National Qualifer to the NSDA’s National Tournament, and heavily looks forward to seeing future competitors excel!

Colton is a sophomore at Anacortes High School. As captain of his school’s debate team, he has qualified for the National Speech and Debate tournament and championed many tournaments in the Washington circuit. Outside of debate, he is an avid food critic and rapper.

Jocasta is an incoming freshman at Johns Hopkins University, studying neuroscience! She is a junior at Skyline High School, where she participated in all of the debate styles, including: Lincoln Douglas, Parliamentary, Policy, and Public Forum.

Nathan is a sophomore in high school and has years of experience with outreaching.

Theo is a sophomore at Tesla STEM High school with extensive knowledge on graphic designs (he designed our logo!). In addition, he is a great Model United Nations debater.

Iris Keane is the senior officer of the Oak Park and River Forest High School speech team. She was a national qualifier in London Douglas debate. Iris specializes in speech events and was a section qualifier in Performance in the round and the back up for Original Comedy and Extemporaneous speaking. Iris was also 4th place in Extemporaneous speaking at the Tournament of Hero’s. In her free time she enjoys playing video games and studying psychology.
